Our home has been turned upside down by our bunch of fun, our new pug puppy arrival, we are nuts about her. She is 8 wks. old and her name is Madison.Potty housetraining her is turning out to be a great experience.

It is not strange for pugs to have days that they do actual good and then its like she is mad at us for something and that is how she is getting back at us You should see the look on her face

Our little pug has days that she moans, goes to the door and the whole 9 yards. Or if she can't get our attention for some reason she goes on her puppy pad and she gets all the extolment

Every book and training method possible has been used to try on and housetrain her but not always with the result we were looking for.For some uncanny reason she wont even approach her puppy pad or the door depending on what mood she is in.There are times when we take her out the back and show her the grass but to no avail

We took her to the veterinarian for health check thinking maybe she had lice as pug dogs do get lice --negative on that.Her diet has remained the same since the day we got her and she never gets tidbits as a friend of mine said that was the worst thing to do

Now she is starting to do her jobbies in her dog taxi which I cant work out, I am sure I saw on television that pug puppies are known to do this . She gets to go out every two hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed . The most tenacious stretch she goes is at bedtime of the night that is usually six to ten hrs, I was leaving the door open so she could get out to use the toilet of the night on her pad but that didn't wreak . The next day a pair of my husbands trousers were on the floor and she decided that would be a great place to go to the bathroom, he wasn't impressed

She is never spanked at or hollered at all we do is say no and bring her away.How can we fix this issue. Does she get confused by us taking her outside as well as giving her the alternate of the doggie pad.I cant imagine what we have done awry so that she is so confused.Please give us some input.What can we do to adjust her on the straight and narrow so that she is perfectly housetrained.
